I’m a bit behind with the kitchen times, to be honest, so I haven’t yet invested in an air fryer for my own kitchen; but I am on the hunt for one. It’s an actual minefield out there. With so many different types, varieties, and models to pick one, how do you know whether or not you’re making the right purchasing decision? I decided to make a list – the top rated air fryers under £50 in 2022.
How about I start with the most expensive air fryers under £50, then work my way down? How does that sound for a plan?
21 Top Rated Air Fryers Under £50
There are so many benefits to be had from investing your hard-earned cash into an air fryer, not least the reduction in your energy bills and the reduced time you’ll spend slaving away over a hot oven.
Let’s take a look at some of the air fryers under £50 that are worth your money.
As always, prices, products and information all correct at the time of writing.
1 – Daewoo 2L Single Pot Air Fryer
If it’s a dinner for one you’re looking at making, this compact Daewoo model might just do the trick – and it’s one of the cheapest top rated air fryers under £50!
It’s got all the regular stuff that you’d expect to find on your safe-to-use air fryer – overheating protection and automatic shut-off. There are a few nice touches, too. These include the rapid airflow circulation system, non-slip feet, removable baking tray, and thermostatic control.
And, just in case you didn’t already know, air fryer models just like one make dinner up to 80% cheaper.

If it’s something super simple, super cheap, super reliable, and great for cooking meals for one or two people, this Tower Air Fryer Oven with Rapid Air Circulation is definitely one to look at. It has more than 11,000 positive reviews.
Overall, it has the best reviews of all the models featured in this list.
Running at 1000 watts, this 2.2 litre air fryer boasts of multiple cooking options, manual controls, a 30-minute timer, and Vortx technology.

3 – Daewoo 17L 1300W Halogen Air Fryer
According to Daewoo, running this 17-litre, 1300-watt halogen air fryer will be up to 73% cheaper than your typical 5000W electric oven, which sounds pretty good to me.
Not content with being under £50, this one was actually less than £37 at the time of writing, and it comes with a bunch of accessories including an extender ring, lid stand, oil bottle, mesh tray x2, and high/low rack tongs.
With a built-in timer and temperature control, this cheap air fryer might tick all the right boxes for you – but there is a downside. If you take a peek at the reviews, you can see that the halogen bulb either isn’t replaceable, or is so difficult to replace that no one has managed to figure it out yet. It also seems virtually impossible to buy replacement halogen bulbs for.
There is good news, though! The bulb is said to last for a whopping 2,000 hours of air-frying time, and the air fryer itself is under warranty for 2 years.

There are many benefits to investing in an air fryer, including faster meals, cheaper energy bills, and healthier food. With just one spoonful of oil, you could make two portions of fries, from frozen, in just 15 minutes. When you compare that to the average oven cooking time for frozen fries, which is usually around 20 to 30 minutes, plus the approximate 15 minutes of preheating time, you can quickly understand why running the air fryer would work out a lot cheaper.
This Tower model even has a 3 year warranty (1 year + 2 year extension with online registration), which means that you can carry on cooking healthier, faster, cheaper meals for longer!

This air fryer cooks up to 250°C, which is slightly more than the 200°C than most of the other air fryers under £50 featured in this list. There is also a timer, and an adjustable temperature function. These are controlled with dials rather than buttons, and there’s also no digital screen.

10 – Quest 17L Multifunction Air Fryer Oven
Most of the air dryers I’ve featured on this list of air fryers under £50 have had 30-minute timers. This one stands out because it has a 60-minute timer – and that’s not all.
As well as having a whopping 17L capacity, perfect for family meals, it also has a 5L extender, meaning you can double up on the amount of food you can cook inside at once.
It also offers a higher temperature than most of the other air fryer models, going up to 250°C.

Another day, another Daewoo…
Do you see what I did there?
Sorry, I know that was a terrible pun. This 4 litre air fryer isn’t terrible, though! Quite the opposite, in fact. With its larger capacity, you’ll never believe it’s one of the air fryers under £50, but it is – and it’s great for feeding families of three, four, five and more people.

21 – Aigostar 3L Air Fryer with Rapid Air Circulation
Okay, so, I’ll hold my hands up and admit that this one is ever-so-slightly over budget – and I’m very sorry for that! However, it looks great, has great reviews, and has some decent features, so I figured it was worth a mention anyway. I do hope you’ll forgive me!
One of the best things about this air fryer that isn’t quite under £50, is that you have options. You can get a bigger one, a smaller one, a more/less powerful one…
We love options, right?

Other Notable Mentions
I didn’t include the following in the list of air dryers under £50 because they are too similar to the ones already featured (and for other similar reasons).
They definitely deserve a mention and a moment of your time, though!
